'So You Think You Can Dance': A lot of kissing going on

There was plenty of kissing going on last night's episode of "So You Think You Can Dance."

Who knew that guest judge Kristen Chenoweth--I just love her energy-- could stir up so much sexual tension?

After some back and forth between host Cat Deeley and the judges it was time to get started.

First up was a group dance with Sasha, Chris, Ryan, Tadd, Clarice, Marko, Miranda and Mitchell. They perform a Tyce Diorio choreographed routine to "Hit The Road Jack" by Ray Charles. It's typical Tyce-- jazzy, Broadway, with a touch of pizazz. It's hard to judge them individually. There are simply too many moving parts.

Sasha and Alexandre are the first couple to dance. (Hey! Didn't she just dance?) Anywho, they perform a contemporary routine choreographed by Dee Caspary to "Belong" by Cary Brothers. It involves a piano as a prop. It's a pretty routine, but it  is more acting than dancing. This might hurt them. Judge Nigel Lythgoe doesn't agree with me. He says that the show is off to a good start. Nigel compliments Sasha's movement. Judge Mary Murphy loves the concept and she says both are strong dancers. She says that Alexander is growing. She calls Sasha a "gorgeous artist." Kristen says Sasha is amazing. Kristen says that Alexander's extension is great. Lil C says he loves the piece and loves the couple.
