As we denizens of the world are all too aware, borders continue to exist in the music industry. So even though we've been blogging about Hercules and Love Affair's Blue Songs for a year and listening to it since January, the album hasn't actually received a proper North American release yet.
Well, the situation is finally changing. Fans languishing behind firewalls or living in abject fear of UK import prices can get their hands on the dance-pop group's sophomore album when it comes out via Moshi Moshi on August 16. Three bonus tracks, including an excellent cover of The XX's Shelter, and a second disc of remixes will be included in the release.
The band will also hit the road in August and September as part of the Identity Festival. Check out the tracklisting and tour dates after the jump.
