Cheryl Cole Confirmed As U.S. X Factor Judge

America, get ready for a dose of Cheryl Cole

Amidst the speculations over who Simon Cowell may pick for a seat at the judging panel in the U.S. version of his hit TV series, The X Factor, Cheryl Cole has now been confirmed as the latest addition to the four-seat lineup.

According to guardian.co.uk, however, it is unsure if the Girls Aloud star is planning to continue on or quit as a judge on the U.K. version of the show, which she joined three years ago. Nevertheless, this confirmation would see Cheryl joining record producer Antonio �LA� Reid, Simon himself and another yet-to-be-announced judge when the show goes on air reportedly in September.

�I'm thrilled for Cheryl. She is massively excited about this show, and has been fantastic to work with,� said Cowell. �She is also a complete brat. Most importantly, this girl can spot talent.�

Cheryl added: �I'm so excited to be taking part in the American version of The X Factor. I absolutely love it here in the U.K. and with the talent they have out in America, I'm sure we're going to find someone very special. I can't wait to get started.�
