Ryan Seacrest, The Most Powerful Man In Reality TV

King of reality TV
King of reality TV

The top spot was previously held by Simon Cowell last year and the year before. But this time around, producer, radio personality and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest leads The Hollywood Reporter's fourth annual Reality Power List.

Simon is in sixth place this year. The rankings were determined by, among other things, reputation for quality, leaving an indelible mark and overall impact on pop culture. Ryan took the pole position this time because of his role on the immensely popular AI, winning an Emmy for Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution (which he produced) and having four shows based on the Kardashian franchise.

Undoubtedly, he is a recognisable name and probably one of the hardest working people on radio and in TV! Other familiar names on the list include Mark Burnett (No. 11), Gordon Ramsay (No. 20) and Nigel Lythgoe (No. 27).

Anyway, congratulations Ryan!
